The PHSOB Academy is based at the Pretoria High School Old Boys Club in Menlo Park Pretoria and
hopefully at Supersport Park Centurion in the near future. The PHSOB club is proudly the premier
sports and social club in Pretoria with thousands of members in our cricket, bowls, road running,
hockey, squash, social, Rotary and Toastmasters sections. The SSE Academy is a new initiative
by the club to improve the cricket section and the club itself.
The PHSOB Cricket Academy has made use of nearby facilities and entities to afford the player the best possible facilities and structures.
We make use of the Menlo Park High School Gym, the gym is well equipped and boasts all the equipment needed for specialised cricket training
We make use of Menlo Park High School Dartfish video analysis programme and facilities
We use Hillcrest swimming pool for recovery, stretching and non –impact water fitness
We have a partnership with Lynnwood Laerskool whereby they are developing our second cricket field for the use of the club, academy and the school.

Our Facilities
The PHSOB club has 2 fields, 10 Turf nets, Two artificial nets, a bowling machine and
net, a lecture room, restuarant, 2 bars that will all be available for the cricket
school. In the near future we are going to construct a shop, office, conference room and a Club Gym.
Our Goals
We are here to develop and enhance the sport of learners that attend the sport school.
We are all for the growth of talent in our country and will be doing our utmost to
enhance all the talents at the school.
